The cases are made out of veneered plywood and veneered pine and spruce wood. The inside of the cases is „French fitted“, which means it’s custom fitted for the shape of the item it’s made for. If the fitting is made properly, the item will fit into its place only by using it’s own weight. The inner strap, which determines the gun’s position should be made of one part (meaning its length) and should not be made of several smaller parts.

Felt is used for the inner fitting in such a way, so that the gun and it’s accessories would be properly encased after gently closing the case.

Cases have different locking mechanisms, some have an ordinary latch and some have a small lock with a key. The color of metal components is based on the used veneer.

           Cases for regular pistols and small revolvers are sized approx. 315 x 198 x 63 mm (12 3/8" x 7 13/16" x 2 1/2"), but cases for larger revolvers have a width approx. 352 mm (13 7/8").

Cases can be modified by choosing a veneer and then proceeding to the decoration, which offers many options, from decorating with metal components to wood carving, eventually with engraved inscriptions and ornaments (previews soon).

In the gallery are previews of some cases and execution details from the very beginning (case for CZ97 BD pistol) to the case for F.LLI PIETTA SAA 1873 revolver with a 5,5“ barrel.
